The Shipping Containers industry has become more and more convoluted. It has made the buying experience a nightmare for customers and we hope make your experience smooth and easy. But before you start, beware of sales reps and companies that are riddled with false advertising and misleading customers on containers they’re buying. Hopefully, this will help you determine what to look out for the container condition, price, delivery and everything in between.
A huge issue that we have seen with other small Shipping Containers companies is that they are selling customers one condition but receiving a one that is in a lesser condition. I have heard numerous customer nightmare stories about these companies and you should beware.
These companies sell you an 'As-Is' (picture to the right) container as a 'Wind and Water Tight' one. They can purchase As-Is containers very cheap from your neighbor and sell it to you under another label because you won't know. 'AS IS' containers have no guarantee and will leak, come with bad door and door seals and have holes in floors. Make sure you confirm the condition of your container and ask them where did they purchase it from? A supplier? A lot of local companies have local yards, If they do ask if you can see what they have in stock in person to ensure what you're buying. Some small businesses (like us) we have Nationwide selling ability due to buying from suppliers Nationwide. If they are just local ask, they should be open to you looking, if not may want think twice.

The delivery of Shipping Containers can be a big cost to factor in when completing your purchase. Be sure your quoted price includes delivery of the container to your destination of choice. There are companies that will quote you a container price and and never tell you about delivery or delivery price. Some companies do this separately or after your purchase, make sure you you ask if this total is with full delivery price when making a decision because delivery price can range into $1000s.
Our quotes always includes delivered price to the location of your choice.
Tilt Bed/Roll Off - The Shipping Containers will arrive on a trailer that will tilt back and place the edge of the container on the ground. The trailer will pull away and allow the container to slide, or roll, off onto the ground. Must have proper footage to pull straight forward without obstacles, twist, turns, bumps, dips, and anything overhead.
Customer Assist - This requires the customer to have an anchor point on the delivery site. A chain can be attached to the container and then attached to the anchor point. The trailer will then pull away and the container will slide onto the ground.Anchor Point must be a large tree, heavy machinery, F350 (or equivalent). Something solid and stable.
Customer Pickup - Customers are able to arrange a date and time to go to the depot and pick up their container. It is advised to ensure you have the proper equipment needed before attempting to do so. Equipment required is a trailer that can handle( 5,100lbs up to 8,800 lb depending on your container size) the weight, a truck that can pull it safely, a safety vest and your release number.
